EXPLICIT CONSENT STATEMENT UNDER THE TURKISH PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW

1. Introduction and Data Controller

This Explicit Consent Statement concerns personal data processing activities undertaken on the basis of explicit consent under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).

The corporate information concerning Zenrota Limited identifies the primary contracting entity for the platform’s services. It does not replace the Company’s role as data controller for the processing covered by this Statement or alter the application of the KVKK.

This Statement must be read together with the applicable Data Protection and Privacy Notice and, where relevant, the Cookie Notice. Providing a privacy notice and obtaining consent are separate obligations; acknowledging receipt of a notice does not itself constitute consent.

2. Voluntary and Specific Consent

Your explicit consent must be freely given, specific, and informed. You may accept or decline each optional processing purpose independently.

Purchasing a service, creating an account, or accessing the website is not conditional on consenting to optional marketing, personalization, or non-essential cookies.

6. International Transfers of Personal Data

This Statement does not obtain blanket consent for routine or recurring international transfers.

Where an occasional transfer may lawfully rely on explicit consent under Article 9, the Company shall first provide a separate, transfer-specific notice identifying the recipient, destination country, relevant data, purpose, and potential risks arising from the absence of an adequacy decision and appropriate safeguards. A separate explicit consent shall then be requested for that transfer.

No consent to an international transfer is obtained merely by accepting the marketing choices in this Statement.

7. Withdrawal of Consent

You may withdraw any consent given under this Statement at any time by contacting [email protected].

You may also unsubscribe from promotional communications through the opt-out mechanism provided in the relevant communication and manage optional cookies through the website’s cookie preference controls.

Withdrawal applies to future consent-based processing and does not retrospectively invalidate processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.

The Company may continue processing personal data where a separate, valid legal basis applies, including where retention is required by law. Withdrawal of optional consent does not affect your existing booking or your statutory rights.

8. Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you may request information about the processing of your personal data, its purposes, and the recipients to whom it has been transferred. You may also exercise your rights to rectification, erasure or destruction where the statutory conditions are met, notification of those actions to relevant recipients, objection to adverse results arising exclusively from automated analysis, and compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

Requests may be submitted to the Company through the legally recognized application methods described in the KVKK Data Subject Application Form, including a written application to the Company’s address or an email sent to [email protected] from an address previously provided to the Company and recorded in its systems.

This Statement remains subject to the KVKK. The corporate information concerning Hong Kong does not restrict your rights under Turkish data protection law.
